In a tragic incident on the World Tourism Day, two elderly women tourists hailing from Nepal were found dead and two others were rescued in critical conditions from the Malatipatpur bus stand in Puri on Tuesday.
The deceased were identified as Suri Moria and Juburi Parsi, both aged over 70. The other two women were admitted to hospital for treatment.
According to reports, the deceased duo had come to Puri with a group of 60 tourists of Uttar Pradesh and Nepal. They complained of vomiting and loose motion after having food earlier in the day.
Police started investigation into the incident after seizing the bodies.
