Police on Monday arrested and court-forwarded two persons for their alleged complicity in the notorious gangster Kunu Panda murder case that occurred in city on January 24.
They were identified as Manoj Kumar lenka (28) of Telengasahi and Ranjan Rout (23) of Gabagaon. With this, a total of five accused were arrested.
According to the investigating officer Inspector Paresh Rout , Ranjan Rout is one of the key conspirators of Kunu’s murder. Kunu was a former Councillor and a history-sheeter as well. He said that the day of murder incident Ranjan was riding a bike while Kunu was sitting on the pillion seat. Ranjan having a link with his rival gang had informed them about his movement.
