locals along with the Bhubaneswar Fire officials early on Monday morning recovered the bodies of the two youths who had been swept away by strong currents in the Gangua canal at Nuagan on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar on Sunday. The bodies were recovered at the Kukudaghai Ghat.
Prasanna Behera (28) of Nuagan village and his cousin Papuni Behera (18) of Harchandi Sahi of the Old Town area under the lingaraj police station had gone to graze their domestic cattle while they met with the tragedy.
Meanwhile, the bodies were handed over to their family members after autopsy.
