Kendrapada District Collector Debaraj Senapati has sacked two Shiksha Sahayaks from their jobs in the district in the last 24 hours.
On Friday, Collector Senapati disengaged Md Zamil Ahammed, who was working as a Sikshya Sahayak at the Aul Urdu Girl’s Primary School, for dereliction of
duty and involvement in a criminal case.
Sources said in a reply to a show cause notice earlier served by the school Headmaster, Ahammed had admitted that he remained absent in duty for his involvement in a criminal case under the Aul police station. After his reply, the Collector sacked the Sikshya Sahayak.
Earlier on Thursday evening, the Collector terminated Abhaya Kumar Dash, a junior teacher of the Sankhapur Primary School under Pattamundai block, for dereliction in duty by remaining absent in the school and engaging a proxy teacher.
