As per police sources, Sibaram who sustained multiple injuries was admitted in a serious condition in the Puri District Headquarters Hospital (DHH), while Lucky’s leg was injured.

The Baseli Sahi police under whose jurisdictions the incident happened began an investigation.

Though no one was arrested in the case till the filing of the report, however, a manhunt is on by the police against the offenders.

The police suspect it to be the handiwork of one Dama Panda, a neghbour of Siba. Police are also looking into an old rivalry between them relating to professions in Jagannath Temple, which might be the main reason behind the incident.

As per locals, the blast sound was so high that many residents suddenly came out of houses in fear and witnessed smokes all around.
