Dead bodies of two minor girl students were found under mysterious circumstances at the residence of their teacher at Damahuda village under the Patana police station in the district on Saturday.
Sources said 12 students of the Saraswati Sishu Mandir were staying at the residence of teacher, identified as Droupadi Mohanty, and taking tuitions. While the cause of death is yet to be ascertained, the deceased duo had reportedly fallen ill on Fridaynight.
Meanwhile, police have arrested Droupadi and the house owner. “The dead bodies of the two minor girls have been sent for post mortem. We will carry out further investigation into the case as per the report, police said.
