The Koh-e-Fiza police have arrested two fraudsters including a woman involved in duping to the tune of Rs 9 lakh by selling same house to two persons; accused couple collected money and sold house to other person.
Police said that the accused Mukesh Kumar Sahu and Sangeeta Sahu were arrested who have collected Rs 9 lakh from the victim Chandrashekhar Tiwari Radhe Maharaj.
The victim in his complaint stated that the accused entered into an agreement of selling the house at Panchwati Colony by the two accused. He provided Rs 9 lakh and continued to ask for transfer of ownership which the two used to escape with different excuses and later victim found that the house was sold to Kanno Bai and ownership was transferred in her name after which the victim lodged complaint with the police.
After the complaint was lodged police registered case under section 406 and 420 of the IPC and arrested accused after investigation was completed.
During the investigation police found that the accused used to trap victims by showing house and offering it at low price and later sell the same house to person at higher price and would transfer ownership in his name.
