Due to the effect of the recent teachers’ agitation, the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) has extended the evaluation deadline of the Plus-II examination by four days.

Sources said the dates fixed earlier for first phase paper checking was April 4 to 13 and for second phase was fromApril 16 to 23. Due to agitation by the lecturers of Block Grant colleges, the paper evaluation has been delayed by six days.

Therefore, the evaluation days have been increased by four days. The first phase of paper checking would continue tillApril 16 and the second phase would start from April 18 to April 27, said CHSE Chairman Basudev Chatoi.

Chatoi further said the evaluation process has slowed down because of the intense heat and teachers’ agitation. The results would come out on the second week of May as decided earlier.
