Around 500 representatives and workers of nearly 100 non-Governmental organisations (NGOs) working in the State will participate in a two-day State-level convention ‘Seva Sangam’ here on November 15 and 16.

The event will be organised by the Utkal Bipanna Sahayata Samiti (UBSS). AIIMS Bhubaneswar Director Ashok Kumar Mohapatra and many national level Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) cadres will attend the seminar and encourage the NGO workers for their noble work.

“The main objective behind organising the convention is to convince the  NGO workers about their responsibility to the society since they are working in grassroots level,” UBSS president Prakash Betala told mediapersons here. He further informed that several State, national and international level NGOs would participate in the convention.
