The town-based Childline in Gajapati district has rescued two minor boys, who were engaged as child labourers at a fast food joint at Charimile Square here.
The two rescued boys were aged 14 and 15 years. Getting information from some sources, a Childline team rushed to the spot and rescued the two boys, but later as they were found again to be working in the eatery.
Childline’s Nageswar Chaudhury and Premika Bhuyan along with District Child Protection office and police personnel rescued the child labourers. later, the two boys were handed over to their respective families at village Padmapur under Gumma block in the district.
