In a matter of concern, healthcare professionals who are leading the battle against coronavirus have started falling prey to the virus in the State.
On Friday, two doctors of the Capital Hospital here, who had received vaccine, tested positive. While one doctor is of the Orthopaedic Department, the other is from the Medicine Department. They have been kept under isolation.
“Antigen tests of all those who had come in contact with the doctors have been conducted and all of them have tested negative for the virus. However, we will again send their swap samples for RT-PCR test,” said hospital Director Laxmidhar Sahoo.
Notably, capital city is witnessing a steep rise in positive cases with over 100 cases being reported for last few days.
