Two elder brothers of the once-conjoined twins Jaga and Kalia have taken admissions in the Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS). They are Ajit (11) and Datya (8)
Ajit was admitted in Standard-VI and Datya in Standard-III.
In September, founder of KIIT & KISS and Kandhamal MP Dr Achyuta Samanta had visited the SCB Medical College Hospital in Cuttack and met Jaga and Kalia to enquire about their health. During his discussion with their parents, Dr Samanta came to know that the twins’ two elder brothers are staying in their village in Kandhamal. He then assured to facilitate the education of all four brothers at the KISS. Once Jaga and Kalia are fit, they will also join the KISS.
Dr Samanta met Ajit and Datya at the KISS. In his reaction, their father Bhuyan Kanhar thanked Dr
Samanta for taking the responsibility of providing education to his children.
