The first phase of counselling for 601 seats in nine colleges under the Odisha University for Agriculture Technology (OUAT) ended here on Saturday.
According to Chairman (Admissions) and College of Agricultural Engineering Dean Prof Bijay Kumar Mishra all seats in Agriculture, Veterinary, Fisheries, Agricultural Engineering, Forestry and Horticulture streams have been filled up in the first phase counselling and 21 seats have remained vacant in Home Science streams.
He also informed that the second phase of counselling for these 21 seats would be held in the second week of August. Regular classes would commence from July 30.
Mishra further stated that all 288 seats of three Colleges of Agricultural Engineering, 80 seats of College of Veterinary Science, 64 seats of Engineering and Technology, 48 seats of College of Forestry and 48 seats of College of Fisheries have been filled up.
