Bhubaneswar on Tuesday registered 197 Covid-19 cases, with which the total tally in the capital city rose to 1,05,877. Notably, the city had recorded 168 cases on Monday.Out of the 197 new cases, 150 were local contacts and 47 were from quarantine. The local contacts included 10 cases each in Old Town and Chandrasekharpur followed by nine each in Khandagiri and Patia and six in Laxmisagar.The active cases in the city stood at 3,399.So far, 987 persons have succumbed to the disease in the city.However, 206 persons recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours, increasing the total recoveries to 1,01,470.
