The 193 promoted officers include 110 from general category, 30 and 53 SC and ST categories, respectively. All the promoted officers were working in police outposts, police stations and other organisations in the State. Now they will head police stations across the State.
They would get a pay band of Rs9,300-Rs34,800 with grade pay of Rs4,600.
Similarly, the Central Selection Board also recommended transfer of 39 Inspectors. Concerned higher authorities were asked to relieve the promoted and transferred officials at the earliest.
