Bhubaneswar on Wednesday registered 182 new Covid-19 positive cases, with which the total tally in the city rose to 98,767. Out of the new cases, 154 were local contacts and 28 quarantine cases. The local contacts included 11 cases each in Old Town, Chandrasekharpur and Patia followed by ten each in Khandagiri and Nayapalli and seven in Niladri Vihar. The active cases stood at 2,062 in the city.
Meanwhile, 10 more patients succumbed to the disease in the city, mounting the total death toll to 789.
However, 175 persons recovered on the day, increasing the total recoveries to 95,895.
