A head-on collision between a bus and a truck at Tukuda under the Jarapada police station in Angul district on Monday left as many as 17 persons injured critically.
The ill-fated bus carrying the victims was on its way to Angul town from Boudh when it dashed against the truck at around 11 am. The bus turned turtle under the impact of the collision.
On being informed, police and Fire Services personnel reached the spot, rescued the injured passengers and admitted them to the Angul District Headquarters Hospital.
