As many as 15 passengers of a bus were critically injured after thebus had a head-on collision with a ten-wheeler truck on NH 143 under Chandiposh police station of Sundargarh district on Saturday morning.
All the injured were sent to the Rourkela Government Hospital for treatment.
According to sources, on Saturday morning, the ill-fated bus, Rakesh, carrying about 30 passengers which was coming from Bonei to Rourkela met the mishap on NH 143 near Darjing. Both drivers of truck and bus also sustained injuries. The health condition of the injured are reportedly stable. The Chandiposh police seized both the vehicles.
