A joint eviction team of the BDA, the BMC and the GA Department on Monday freed 1.5 acre of Government land, around which a boundary wall was constructed, in front of the Gopabandhu Academy in Jaydev Vihar area here.
BDA Additional Enforcement Commissioner Bhabani Sankar Chayani,
Enforcement Officer Pramod Kumar Patra, BMC ZDC (North) Subhransu Mishra, BDA liasion Officer Subhransu Sekhar Mohanty and ACP RN Satpathy were present. Similarly, another team conducted an eviction drive in BDA plotted scheme area at Patrapada and freed 4.000 Sq Ft of Government land from encroachment.
In yet another such drive, the BDA SJS removed 10 street vendors and 30 bamboo sheds from the footpath and cycle path between the New Airport Square and Patia.
