After withdrawal of nominations, a total of 13,196 candidates are found left to try their lucks to win seats like Ward Member, Sarpanch, PS Member and ZP Member in the ensuring panchayat elections in Baleswar district.
After six candidates withdrew papers, 175 are now in fray for 45 ZP seats and, after 242 withdrew, 1,145 candidates will fight for 360 PS Member posts. Similarly, 1,211 candidates are in fray for Sarpanch seats after 332 nominations were withdrawn and 10,668 candidates found left to fight for Ward Member seats after 1,233 were withdrawn.
