A total of 13,043 students have applied to appear in Plus 2 offline examination, informed the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) on Saturday. Earlier on September 2, the council had announced that Class-XII students, who were unhappy with their marks allotted to them on basis of alternate assessment, can register themselves for Annual Higher Secondary (Special) Examination, 2021 offline. The CHSE had also clarified that no examination or registration fees would be collected from students. The last date for the registration on SAMS e-Space was September 9. “Those who will appear for annual offline (special) examination will have to forego present results. Results of offline examination will be final,” CHSE had stated. The examination will be held only for major papers to be decided on basis of number of students registering for same. Marks in all other papers will be awarded on basis of marks secured in major papers as decided by the CHSE.
