The State on Wednesday registered 128 new Covid-19 positive cases in 24 districts and the State pool, with which the total tally increased to 12,86,245.
Among the newly-infected were 28 children in the age group of 0 to 18 years.
Notably, the State had reported 108 cases on Tuesday.
Out of the new cases, 75 cases were from quarantine and, 53 local contacts.
Gajapati district reported the maximum 18 new cases followed by Khordha with 16, Nabarangpur 14, Sundargarh 12, Mayurbhanj 11, Balangir and Sambalpur nine each, Baleswar seven, Jajpur and Angul four each, Ganjam and Jharsuguda three each, Bargarh, Koraput and Cuttack two each and Boudh, Dhenkanal, Deogarh, Kandhamal, Kendrapada, Kalahandi and Nuapada one each.
Besides, three cases were reported from the State pool.
The active Covid cases stood at 1,110.
