The Mohana Child line has taken steps to resettle 12 orphans of Gajapati district. An eight-month baby boy was handed over to the Brahmapur Child Welfare Committee (CWC).
The Child line sent eight boys to the Day-Star-Home in Joroa village. Other three girls would be sent to the CCI in Mohana, informed CWC chairman Binod Chandra Jena. All the children were handed over through the Child line workers.
Earlier, a 16-year-old girl of Gira village in Gumma block was also rescued from Brahmapur railway station. She was also handed over to Gajapati district CWC, Jena added.
