The State Government has decided to set up 12 more blood separation units. For this, Chief Minsiter Naveen Patnaik has sanctioned Rs 16 crore, said Health and Family Welfare Minister Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak here on Sunday.
Unveiling the Health line- 2016, a directory on health officials and health centres in the State, published by the Vigyanpan Publications, he said the Government is taking various steps to improve the health sector on a priority basis.
The health directory would be of great help for the general public, said Nayak, who wanted inclusion of information on specialists of certain specific departments in the directory’s next edition. Among others, Kalinga Hospital MD DK Roy, Health line editor Dilip Mishra and Vigyanpan project director Manoj Prusty were present.
