The Kendrapada SP has devised an action plan against some of the errant police officials for neglecting their duty. He has served show cause against 12 police personnel for neglect in duty.
SP Satish Kumar Gajavhiyee said departmental proceedings had been started against SN Satapathy(SI, Mahakalapada PS ), PK Kanungo (SI, Patkura PS), BK Parida (ASI, Rajkanaika PS ), MK Pradhan (ASI, Rajkanika PS ), DS Behera(ASI, Rajkanika PS), RK Samal (ASI, Kendrapara Sadar PS), RB Swain (ASI, Patkura PS), RC Sethy (ASI, Town PS), BD Jena(ASI, Patkura PS), TK Kanungo (ASI, Town PS), HK Behera (ASI, Town PS) and RK Das (ASI, Sadar PS).
There are allegations that these 12 police officials were neglecting their duty and never mended ways despite warnings. They also failed to win the trust of the people who came for justice to the police stations. “I have issued so cause notices to the errant police officials on Wednesday asking them why departmental proceeding would not be initiated against them. I have directed them to submit their detailed report in this regard within a week,” informed Gajavhiye.
