Miscreants smashed as many as 12 automated teller machins (ATMs) of different banks under the municipality area here on Tuesday morning but failed to get hold of any cash.
Even the robbers managed to damage a counter near the SP office and another near the Angul police station. The ATM counters belonged to SBI, ICCI and UCO bank. One security guard was attacked.
