The State on Tuesday reported 11,086 new Covid-19 cases in all 30 districts and the State pool, surging the total tally to 11,55,487.
Among the newly-infected were 1,061 children in the 0 to 18 years age group.
Notably, the State had recorded 10,489 cases on Monday.
Out of the new cases, 6,431 cases were reported from quarantine and 4,655 local contacts.
In the last 24 hours, 70,990 samples were tested and the test positivity rate (TPR) was 15.61 per cent.
The active cases stood at 80,914.
Khordha district reported the highest 3,469 cases followed by Sundargarh with 1,416, Cuttack reported 767, Mayurbhanj 393, Baleswar 323, Sambalpur 302, Balangir 300, Jajpur 275, Jagatsinghpur 273, Kalahandi 253, Keonjhar 223, Koraput 196, Puri 188, Rayagada 187, Subarnapur 153, Dhenkanal 157, Angul 139, Bhadrak and Jharsuguda 132 each, Bargarh 125, Ganjam 116, Kendrapada 85, Deogarh 53, Malkangiri 52 and Kandhamal 51.
Besides, 759 cases were reported from the State pool.
Four more persons more succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours, mounting the total death toll to 8,4,88. One death each was reported from Cuttack, Kendrapada, Koraput and Sundargarh districts.
So far, 10,66,032 patients have recovered in the State.
