The Ganjam district administration has distributed around 10,000 vials of immunity-boosting homeopathic medicines to frontline Covid-19 warriors.
The Biju Patnaik Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Bramapur prepared the vials on the request of Chief District Medical Officer (CDMO) of Ganjam Uma Shankar Mishra.
On the advice of the Centre, the State Government has recommended ‘Arsenicum Album 30’ as a preventive medicine to boost immunity in people engaged in Covid-19-reated activities.
The number of coronavirus positives in Ganjam rose to 5,527 with 247 cases detected during the last 24 hours. The district’s Covid death toll surged to 54 as a 70-year-old woman and a 44-year-old man died during the period. While 3,554 infected persons have recovered, 1915 are undergoing treatment at different Covid Hospitals in the State.
