The Yoga Mahotsav Samiti would celebrate the World Yoga Day on June 21. A total of 1,000 yoga camps would be organised all over the State on the occasion, informed Samiti co-coordinator and former MlA Pratap Chndra Sarangi at a Press meet here on Tuesday.
“We will conduct the camps in all the 30 districts and 314 blocks if the State. Yoga would be practised at all the places for 45 minutes simultaneously,” Sarangi said. For this, training camps would be held at 36 places of the State from June 10 to 15.
Yoga Mahotsava Samiti convener Swami Advayananda from the Ramakrishna Mission, Swami Pranarupananda and Rajayogini BK Geeta of Prajapita Brahmakumari Iswariya Vidyalaya were present at the Press meet. Besides, representatives of many spiritual and yoga institutions were also present. Members of various yoga institutions like the Art of living, the Patanjali and the Bharatiya Yog Sansthan would participate in the camps.
