As many as ten new nursing colleges would be established in the State, informed Health Minister Naba Kishore Das on Monday.
The ten colleges having 60 seats each would come up in 10 districts, he said. The districts are Mayurbhanj, Balangir, Koraput, Baleswar, Jharsuguda, Puri, Sundargarh, Angul, Keonjhar and Jajpur.The Minister also informed that a heart care hospital would be operational in Jharsuguda district this year.
