A 10 member East Coast Railway (ECoR) athletic team would leave from on Sunday to participate in the three-day-long All India Railway Athletic meet to be held at Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh from August 5 to 7.
Altogether five women, two men athletes, two coaches and one manager are the member of the East Coast Railway team. Star sprinter Srabani Nanda and Purnima Hemaram are in good form and bagged gold medal in the recently concluded national meet.
Srabani Nanda (100,200 meter and relay), Purnima Hembram (Heptathlon, relay), Meghna KR (800,1500 meter), CH Santhi (100,200, relay), Parbati Sethi (discus), Bikash lathian (800,1500 meter), Suryanarayan (100, 200 meter), Subhasmita Rath, Rasid Barsa (both coach) and Srinu manager.
