Of the 13 new Covid-19 cases reported in Khordha district on Monday, one was from Bhubaneswar.
The case was detected from home quarantine in the Damana area. He is a 25-year-old man with a travel history to Mumbai. The contact tracing is underway. The primary contacts and nearby houses are being quarantined and sanitised, respectively. The area would be under active surveillance, the BMC said in a tweet.
With this, the total number of coronavirus cases in Bhubaneswar rose to 89, of which 33 are active and 53 patients have recovered so far. The death toll stands at three in the city.
