One more patient succumbed to the Covid-19 virus in capital city Bhubaneswar on Tuesday, with which the total death toll mounted to 1,917 in the State.
Meanwhile, 74 new positive cases were registered in 17 districts, surging the total tally to 3,37,351.
Of the new cases, 45 were from quarantine and 29 local contact cases. Sundargarh district reported the day’s highest 13 cases. Besides, two cases were reported from the State pool.
Currently, the number of total active cases in the State stood at 734 and the cumulative samples tested were 83,60,145.
However, another 56 patients recovered on the day, increasing the total recoveries to 3,34,703 in the State.
