The State Government on Monday announced to provide one month’s additional pension to the beneficiaries under the Madhu Babu Pension Yojana (MPY) and the National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP) in the Cyclone Fani-affected areas.
The additional benefit would be provided to the beneficiaries in the districts of Puri, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada and Khordha.
An amount of Rs 48. 91 crore has been sanctioned for the purpose, official sources said.
