Vehicular communications on National Highway-16 between Bhubaneswar and Cuttack were disrupted on Friday after a tipper hit a truck from its rear near Pahal under the Balianta police station killing helper of the tipper.
The driver of the tipper sustained critical injuries in the mishap and was admitted to a hospital. Movement of vehicles on the NH was severely affected after the mishap. Hundreds of vehicles remained stranded on the road following which police rushed to the spot and restored normalcy.
