A joint eviction team comprising officials of the BDA, BMC and GA Department and Commissionerate Police cleared an encroached area of one acre in the Chandrasekharpur area here on Saturday.
Two AC Sheeted structures, three polythene roofed sheds, five wooden cabin and an iron cabin were demolished from the land with the help of two excavators.The demolition drive was conducted by BDA Enforcement Officer Pramod Patro, liasioning Officer Subhransu Mohanty, BMC Assistant Commissioner Mulla Mahamad, GA OSD Bhagawan Behera. ACP Fagua Shingh and Chadrasekharpur PS IIC Devi Shankar Pratap were present.
