As many as 1,436 chit fund scam-affected investors of the Rose Valley company were disbursed compensation amounting Rs 48,04,332 by the Baleswar district administration on Wednesday.
Earlier on Monday, an amount of Rs 9,55,982 was disbursed among the identified 235 investors. The amounts were given to their bank accounts through the e-transfer mode. The amount was transferred after identifying the genuine losers through documents, said the district administration. Those who received the compensation belong to Soro, Khaira, Nilgiri, Bahanga, Remuna, Bhograi and Sadar area. The State Government has placed a sum of Rs 12 crore to be disbursed among the affected investors in the district.
