The Vigilance police on Tuesday conducted simultaneous house searches on the properties of Prafulla Kumar Sa, Head Clerk, Agalpur block in Balangir district, on the allegation of possession of assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
During the searches, a double-storied building at Gandhinagar Pada and a double-storied building at Hatpadapada in Balangir district, four plots in Balangir town, two two-wheelers, insurance deposits of over Rs 3.19 lakh, bank deposits, gold and silver ornaments and other movable and immovable properties, all totalling over Rs 1.32 crore, were unearthed during the searches so far.
