As many as 67 tankers and containers carrying 1,268 MT of medical oxygen have been escorted from Rourkela, Jajpur, Dhenkanal and Angul by the Odisha police so far. More were leaving on Monday.
Dedicated corridors have been set up with round-the-clock monitoring. The police are committed to ensure that there is no delay in loading and transporting so as to promptly serve thousands of needy patients in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and other needy States.
A special cell has been formed under Law and Order ADG YK Jethwa for coordinated action for loading and transportation of oxygen.
