The Citizen’s Human Rights Clinic, Odisha, held its second National Symposium entitled “Stand up for someone’s right today” here.

Former Judge of Orissa High Court and Chairman of National Green Tribunal Justice AS Naidu and MLA Soumya Ranjan Patnaik graced the occasion as inaugurator and chief guest, respectively. Both stated that when human rights are violated by anybody or organisation, the citizens must raise their voice against such violation.

But now-a-days citizens are displaying callous attitude, which is not a good sign for the society. In such a scenario Citizen’s Human Rights Clinic is working for the protection and promotion of human rights; their efforts in this regard is laudable, they said.
