BDO, Keonjhar Sadar Bikash Kumar Sahu has no respect for senior citizens and public representives, alleged Panchayat Samiti member, Gopinathpur GPBasanta Kumar Sahu here.
Sources said on Monday, Sahu (63) himself had approached the BDO, Sadar in his office chamber with regard to some development jobs in his GP. His allegation was that inspite of persistent request for many times, the BDO did not pay any heed to it.
At last, Sahu had gone to know the concrete reasons from the BDO. When he met the officer, some PS members were seated in the chairs infront of the BDO but no chair was vacant for Sahu to seat.
Sahu alleged that as per established rules it was the duty of a Government officer to show minimum courtesy of offering a chair to seat when any public representive meets him for any work related to his area. But the BDO Keonjhar did not offer him a seat, neither as a public representive nor as a senior citizen. This shows how arrogant he is, Sahu slammed.
Sahu further alleged that there was a systematic plan to underestimate and insult him before others as he was relentlessly pursuing his cases and exposing the illegal works of the BDO.
Meanwhile BDO Sahu said that he was doing his job as per established norms.
