: Bargarh MP Suresh Pujarari held a Press conference here today to present a detailed account of the nine years of the BJP Government at the Center. Pujari praised the Modi Government while highlighting the developmental works and grants received in the Lok Sabha constituency.
Pujari emphasized the Prime Minister's dedication towards the progress of every section of society, particularly highlighting his attachment to Jharsuguda district. Pujari praised the Prime Minister's efforts and mentioned that the development in the country is evident from the work done. He also pointed out that the Bargarh Lok Sabha constituency received a remarkable amount of works and grants compared to other constituencies in the country.
Several key developmental projects were highlighted by Pujari, including the Jharsuguda airport, which was described as a gift from the Prime Minister. Furthermore, improvements were made in the field of traffic, such as the Bargarh Balangir four-lane road, the road from Jharsuguda to Kankatura to Raigarh, and the Padampur-Patnagarh road. A grant of Rs 374 crore was received to construct a new road directly connecting Jharsuguda to Bargarh, and a bridge will be constructed on the route. Additionally, a long-standing demand of a coal wiring tunnel in Jharsuguda has been fulfilled.
The Government has also recognized the Laikara Kirmira block of Jharsuguda district with ITDA recognition, and it is expected that Kolabira will soon receive the same recognition. In the railway sector, five railway stations in the Bargarh parliamentary constituency will be upgraded to world-class stations. The Bargarh-Padampaur rail line has been published and a flyover bridge till the railway station is under construction, with the Central Government providing a grant for the project.
In terms of social welfare, the DMF fund will ensure drinking water is supplied to every household in the district by the end of 2023.
