‘Yogi’s visit will not have impact’

The BJD in reaction to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Adityanath Yogi’s visit to the State said Yogi’s visit or criticism of the Odisha Government would not have any impact in the State.

Party spokesperson Pratap Keshari Deb, refuting the UP CM’s allegations of the corruption in the KALIA scheme, said there is no question of corruption in the Odisha Government’s KALIA scheme as money is being directly credited to the accounts of farmers.

Responding to Yogi’s claims of having provided 20 lakh houses to poor people in two years, Deb called him a ‘liar’. He further said the 2019 polls would not have a repetition of the results of panchayat elections.

“The BJD will win more than 100 seats in the upcoming polls,” asserted Deb.
