Former Union Minister Srikant Jena on Saturday demanded that the Kendrapara Autonomous College be upgraded to a university and a 350-bed super speciality hospital be established in Kendrapara district soon.
“The Kendrapara College has completed 60 years. There are 40 colleges operating in the district. It would be beneficial for students if the Kendrapara College is upgraded to a university and other colleges of the district are affiliated to it. Similarly, a super speciality hospital should be established to provide better healthcare to people of the district,” Jena wrote to Panaik.
