‘State’s scenario will change when I speak’

Honey-trapper Archana Nag, who was taken to the Capital Hospital here on Tuesday for medical tests before being taken on remand by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), made some sensational statements before the media.

“I have ‘exclusive’ evidence and I am waiting for right time. I won’t spare anyone. I was waiting for the ED to reveal the truth and I will fully cooperate in the probe. I am ready for probe by any investigating agency,” said Archana.

Whether any political leaders or Ministers, she would expose everyone for her present plight, she claimed.

She said, “I have been trapped and I need sufficient time to prove all allegations against me ‘wrong’. When I will speak, the scenario of the entire State will be changed. I need only 30 minutes for this.”

“I am not a terrorist. The way I was arrested and my family was harassed by the Commissionerate police, it’s all a conspiracy against me,” she said.

When asked why her business associate ShradhanjaliBehera made allegation against her, she said, “Let her come to the front first. If she has courage, let her give proof against me or let her clarify whether she dragged me in the case out of pressure.”

Without naming anyone, Archana claimed that she was trapped by two persons. She also demanded that Shradhanjali’s call details be examined.

Earlier in the day, Archana’s architect RanjitBehera appeared before the ED. The ED summoned Behera, who had planned and designed the palatial house of Archana, for questioning in Archana’s money laundering case.

On Monday, the ED had grilled contractor PabitraPatra, who had constructed Archana’s house in Bhubaneswar, for over 12 hours.

Notably, Archana was produced on Monday before a court here, which allowed the ED to take her on a seven-day remand.

After appearing before the court, she had refuted the allegations of receiving any money from film producer AkshayParija. She had also questioned the whereabouts of her associate Shradhanjali and other “so-called victims” in the blackmailing and honey-trap case against her.
