‘Shah tries to boost BJP workers’ morale’

The BJD said Amit Shahs address was meant to uplift the sagging morale of the BJP workers.

The BJD said it had thought that Shah would express his opinion on the hiking of the minimum support price (MSP) of paddy to Rs 2,930 , which is being demanded by some political parties of Odisha. Besides, the party thought Shah would speak about the Special Category Status (SCS) for Odisha, which the BJP had promised in its manifesto.

The BJP president’s statement that the Congress and the BJD are two sides of the same coin is hilarious. The Congress is saying that there is a tacit understanding between the BJD and the BJP. On the other hand the BJP is demanding that there is a nexus between the BJD and the Congresss. In reality, the BJD has relations only with the people of Odisha, the BJD said.

In fact, the people of the State are with Naveen Patnaik and his popularity among the masses is making the BJP jittery, said BJD spokesperson Pratap Keshari Deo.
