The all-round development of country and society lies with emancipation of womanhood, opined Governor of Andhra Pradesh Biswa Bhushan Harichandan.
Inaugurating Sovaniya World Women’s Web Conference – 2020, organised by International Indecency Prevention Movement (IIPM) through video conferencing, Harichandan commented that denigration and defamation of women will definitely invite peril to mankind. The Governor expressed concern over rampant spreading of indecency in society. He lauded noble initiatives currently being undertaken by Sovaniya Andolan. Harichandan gave a clarion call to younger generation to develop love and respect towards mother, motherland and mother tongue.
Director of IIPM and Chairperson of Conference Dr Arundhati Debi stressed need of change of mindset towards girl child. President of Arya Mahila Samaj Shanno Debi disapproved discrimination, disrespect and disgrace being meted out to women President of Odisha Society of Americas Kuku Das joined as guest of honour.
