‘Reopen technical  institutions at earliest’

A delegation of BPUT students on Monday met Skill Development and Technical Education Minister Premananda Nayak here and demanded reopening of the university’s affiliated institutions. After the meeting, the Minister said that a meeting would be held soon to take a decision in this regard. “We are facing a lot of inconveniences during online classes due to poor network connectivity. Our studies have been affected totally over the last one year. Many students don’t have proper infrastructure to attend online classes. We demand that our physical classes be resumed at the earliest,” said a student.

Notably, on July 17, the State Government announced to reopen schools, both Government and private, for Classes-X and XII students. Physical classes of Classes-X and XII students will reopen from July 26.
