The death case of social activist Aditya Dash is getting murkier by the day with new claims being made by his family and associates.
After associate Bikash Baral on Wednesday claimed that Aditya had a relationship with a ‘psycho lady’, his mother on Thursday said the woman used to emotionally blackmail her son for marriage.
Aditya’s mother said the Baleswar girl used to call him frequently and blackmail him saying she would end her life if he did not marry her. She also used to threaten Aditya through TikTok videos.
“All information is there in Aditya’s mobile phone. She had also threatened Aditya of dire consequence 10 to 12 days before his marriage. We have submitted the audios to the Crime Branch,” she stated.
She further said, “Aditya was interested to marry her and she had sent her photo to us. However, Aditya later got frustrated with her behaviour and refused to marry her. In fact, he had described the woman as a psycho.”
Aditya’s widow Bidyashree also told media that the ‘psycho lady’ was holding out threats to her husband.
Earlier, Aditya’s father had stated that the ‘psycho lady’ used to blackmail his son and wanted to marry him.
