Hyder’s wife Hasina Biwi blamed police for “killing” her husband. “Police are responsible for my husband’s death,” she told reporters.
“Mardine mere marad ko police bale achanak uthake leke jail se leke mardin (police killed my husband by taking him from jail). Encounter per ko hota hai kalije ko nehi (encounter firing generally made to leg not to chest). Lungi pehanake le gaye hand cuff pakake, bole bhag jata tha purari puri jhoot police wale boltine (police took him wearing a lungi and told he was fleeing; totally false),” stated Hasina.
“It’s a fake encounter made by police with an intention to kill my husband by scripting a false and fabricated story. I will knock at the doors of the State Government and court to get justice,” she added.
“How did my husband, who was in handcuffs, manage to take possession of the arms of police personnel? Why did not he open fire at police?” questioned Hasina.
“I demand to hand over the body of my husband to my family,” stated she.
Meanwhile, police personnel were deployed near Hyder’s house to maintain law and order.
